UAP observed via FMV — Strait of Hormuz/Persian Gulf area, 16 September 2020
MISREP 4782130 (unit 482ATKS, 432 AEW) documents a 20-hour 56-minute AREC mission (OKAS takeoff 15 Sep 2020 at 23:02Z, landing 16 Sep at 19:58Z) over the Arabian Gulf, Strait of Hormuz, and Gulf of Oman. At 17:32Z on 16 September 2020, the aircraft observed a UAP in the vicinity of MGRS 39RVM5 (remaining digits redacted) via FMV sensor at FL180, 90 KIAS. No description, shape, or other characteristics of the UAP are provided. The mission also recorded three Iranian Air Defense guard calls and two EMI (link-loss) events; weather was not a factor for the UAP observation.

MGRS 39RVM5 consistent with Strait of Hormuz/Persian Gulf coast; centroid at approx. 26.5N, 55.9E with location_approx: true. Two EMI (link loss) events occurred earlier in the mission (12:48Z-12:59Z and 14:14Z-14:41Z), each of unknown type; these are documented for completeness but are separate events. Three Iranian Air Defense guardcalls also noted. No UAP description available beyond the label 'UAP'. OCR quality moderate.
